I teach tension.

I'm obsessed with recovering the inherent power of push-pull; I see the body as neon, taut lines, mesh, electricity, fiber, elastic, blood, bone, and potential.

Yoga is my framework and a skeleton for my teaching, but it is constantly evolving. I believe in doing things the hard way, and taking the time to lay down the ground work.

I want to help people move in ways not specialized for singular purpose, but honest, gritty and ready for the unpredictable.

The forest is my favorite crossword puzzle. I stay sharp and varied in my own body through different disciplines from mountain biking to ballet, bridged by dog walks with sweet Juno.
