I teach tension.

I'm obsessed with recovering the inherent power of push-pull; I see the body as neon, taut lines, mesh, electricity, blood, bone, and potential.

Yoga is the framework and a skeleton for my teaching, but I evolve constantly. I believe in doing things the hard way, and in taking the time to lay down ground work.

I teach movement in ways not-specialized for singular purpose, but intended for honest, gritty, ready-for-anything strength.

The forest is my favorite crossword puzzle. I stay sharp and varied in my own body through disciplines ranging from mountain biking to ballet, bridged by dog walks with sweet Juno.
